Day one was nothing special. We left Oregon way later than planned (typical) and drove straight to the beginning of the Redwoods where we spent our first night in a parking lot. It rained all night long....
Day two we woke up and drove to Arcata, CA where we had breakfast in a hippie diner before heading on to the Avenue of the Giants where we took these pictures. It was still raining.....
This was from our first hike together in the Redwoods... amazing.....
