We have nothing but great news for this blog. Check out some of the highlights:1. Louisiana is the home of the best Walmart in the country: there is a barbeque restaurant in the parking lot (and its a good one too...), not to mention a pet store and a Starbucks... an Olive Garden across the street and the best little coffee shop in the universe with AMAZING egg sandwiches. We may have just found home.
2. Duke is kicking a$$. For those of you that are not interested in college basketball, you have just one month left to get involved before the beginning of March Madness. Its going to be good this year.
3. We have found a dentist, Casey may actually get his teeth fixed... stay tuned, the drilling will be on the next blog.
4. There is a Gander Mountain here. I don't understand why this is great, but apparently it is.
5. This is the only area of the country that is not experiencing freak bad weather right now... it is 70 and sunny... we will try to share the rays.
6. There are alligators here. Real, live alligators and they would be really scary if they weren't incredibly small. Looks like we are going to have to wait for Florida for the big ones.
but MOST IMPORTANTLY....
7. COLLEEN IS HAVING HER BABY RIGHT NOW!!!!! Everybody take a minute to send her good, calming energy even if you don't know her because she is my best friend and the coolest person in the world.
