Fly Catcher

Every year, sometime in June or July,

we have a sudden explosion in our resident fly population.

All of a sudden, there seem to be hundreds

of flies everywhere.

This year, instead of just letting them have their way,

we released the Fly Catcher:

 Last Christmas, Orin got a bug gun from his 

Great Aunt Roxanne.

He found that it is very useful for fly catching.

Do not ask me how, exactly,

Orin can suck up flies in mid air that even adults

armed with a much higher reach 

and rolled up newspaper can't catch,

but catch them he does.

 His other method, equally as successful

is the old stalk,

 whack,

and fetch method.
