The Other Tidbits

On Saturday, we headed over to Sheree and Ed's house to watch
Katie and Tony open their wedding gifts.
During the unwrapping and thanking process we
consumed copious quantities of meat.
Not just any meat, though.
Meat cooked on a Traeger.
Ed's Traeger.
Here is Tony, hanging out with his father and
enjoying his first day of husband-status.

Cousin Matt and his (very cool) girlfriend, whose name I have -like always- already forgotten, but Casey will remind me and I will edit it in later.
Orin got the opportunity to be spoiled with attention for the fifth day in a row.
I just hope that the bar of his standards for affection has not risen too high.
Although, Relk looks like the happier of the two in this picture :)
On Sunday, Casey and I parted ways:
Casey went dirt biking with Kenny and Steven
(We decided that Orin wasn't quite ready to tag along yet,
although he did look great on a bike)

And I spent the afternoon hanging out with Chris
and his new baby boy, Brady,
who is exactly 3 weeks older than Orin.

The boys seemed to get along pretty well,
although at one point Brady got upset that
he didn't have a super-cool dirt bike hoodie like Orin's.
But everything was resolved by lunch,
just in time for the boys to settle in for a nap in the shade.
After Chris and Brady left, I headed to Portland to see my friend Jon.
We walked around the city, did a little shopping for Orin,
(check out his global warming onesie)
and ate dinner.

For those of you more interested in Casey's day,
he has promised that he will write a blog about it soon.

On Monday, we spent the afternoon looking at land outside of the city.

You guessed it,
we have something new up our sleeve,
but you are going to have to wait a little while before I can reveal what it is.
There is a baby to be attended to.
