On the road again...

First, I would like to apologize for taking so long to update the blog. The latest news is Florida has not gotten in touch with the whole wi-fi thing. 

Here is a brief update of the latest events:

After a week living the easy life, we said farewell to Alabama, my dad, my stepmom, decent food, and a nights sleep without Walmart groupies blasting hip-hop in the parking lot at 3 in the morning. 

But it did feel good to be back on the road again in our trusty rusty VW.

That is, until the tornado.

Then it was a little scary and I wouldn't have minded being in a house. The radio kept telling us that if we were in a mobile home, we should evacuate immediately. 

"Does the van count as a mobile home?"

"Hummm... probably"

Good thing we were close to Walmart, so we could have ran inside and taken cover in the pet isle with the dogs if we needed to.

Luckily, the 32 tornados passed over the Walmart parking lot and all was well in the morning. Except, of course, the blankets got wet again. We are going to pick up some do-hickie at Home Depot to fix that really soon....
